Review (date Apr 2 2004
):
It is an unusual tool for detecting semantic errors in the stored procedures, triggers and functions of MS SQL databases. We are not talking about casual errors that are detected by the server itself, but about the problems like returning the value of an uninitiated variable from a procedure or from unused variables. Some of these errors are not important, but some of them are crucial for the work of an application. We recommend that everyone who develops and maintains large solutions based on MS SQL should get acquainted with this product. You may probably find some important drawbacks and shortcomings in a code that has been long functioning.
