Review (date Jun 18 2003
):
InterbaseRecovery salvages corrupted databases created with Interbase and Firebird - two popular multi-platform relational database management systems based on the source code released by Borland Software Corp. InterbaseRecovery supports Interbase 6.5, 7.0 files (.gdb, .ib) and Firebird 1.0.0 files (.fdb), and recovers tables and table data, stored procedures, views, check constraints, indexes, foreign keys, domains and user-defined fields and saves the recovered data into SQL script. The current version of the software does not feature trigger recovery. The process of recovery is fully automatic and does not require any intervention on the user's part. Nor does it require any special skills or training to use the program. Program's straightforward interface lets the user start the process of data recovery right after installation.
