Superior SQL Builder is software intended to create interrelated SQL scripts sets. I.e., it is not focused on one query, but on a sequence of queries interrelated with each other, the interrelation sometimes being rather complicated. The project created by the program contains a graphical representation of the script, which makes the task easier to comprehend, also the sequences of queries satisfied and their interrelation with each other, especially sql scripts, and besides that, every graphic system item can be supplied by a comment and allows to get into a separate settings window corresponding to the item type. Standard libraries containing script template, the basic building block used for building a script in Visual Scribe, can be included in the software. One of the Superior SQL Builder's best features is its ability to adjust script template and create new libraries. It allows to get scripts made in accordance with the standards generally accepted by the users. The program works with the following DBs: Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Oracle, MySQL as well as with any DB supported by OLE DB standards. The program's interface is very interesting, powerful and is not bad in general, but it can't be called simple and easily comprehensible. It takes time to get used to it, and it seems to us that if simplified in some ways it would become much easier and much more attractive.
Proper documentation and a good samples package are included in the delivery pack. Note that in order to work with the software you will need Microsoft.NET Framework as well as MDAC 2.7 or 2.8. No significant comments on the work of the program can be made except that the installation of the software on one of the test computers took a long time and required reinstallation in the Repair variant. On the whole, this software product can be considered successful and recommended to use when creating complicated queries interrelated with each other is required.
