Review (date Jul 23 2003
):
DBDiff is a highly tailored utility for comparing two databases. It allows you to compare any ODBC compatible databases. Besides, it can create a snapshot and perform the comparison offline. The compared details are table structure, data, indexes, data and structure of views, and also procedures. You can perform the fine adjustment of the program and simple or incremental saving of a report. It all comes together with a convenient interface and detailed documentation. On the whole, the program is good and we can recommend it to anyone who often has to compare various databases, especially if there is a necessity to perform the comparison offline.
