A highly tailored program intended solely for transferring data from MS Access databases to MS SQL Server databases. The program correctly converts views, procedures, queries, etc. You can either use the default settings or finely customize the program. The interface is generally good, though somewhat simplified - it is not possible to change the window size, there is neither menu, no help, but instead there is a bit strange, banner-like area occupying approximately 1/6 of the screen at the bottom of the program window. Nevertheless, it does not hinder the user from his work, but just seems a bit out of place. All the features necessary for the complete database conversion are present and the fine adjustment of the settings for transferring tables and data is excellently realized. At the same time there is nothing beyond that in the program, which means that you cannot create requests, view their results, edit data outside the transferring script. One of the noticeable disadvantages of the program is the absence of help and documentation in the standard software package. On the other hand, you can download certain documentation from the developers' site; forum and FAQ are also available there. Our opinion is that the program will be a good choice - despite its considerable price - if there is a constant need for database conversion or if there are a lot of MS Access databases to be converted.
