Review (date Jun 22 2003
):
A fairly powerful package for working with Interbase/Firebird databases, having a quite attractive interface and a well-balanced set of features, among which you can find those that are really useful for developers: testing data generator, data pump etc. A lot of additional settings and wizards make the work comfortable and effective. We came across some problems while connecting to a database via the TCP/IP protocol. We were also surprised by the absence of some important features, for example, undoing the last performed action in the sql script editor is available in one place, while not available in another place. We detected a few small interface drawbacks, but generally the tool is a good one for those developers (the product seems to be designed for them) who actively use Interbase and Firebird.
